Caesar's World

The Empire Known As Caesar’s World

Caesar’s started decades ago in Reno and has only grown since, through casino, resorts, hotels, and other endeavors. There is some establishment of Caesar’s on four continents today, and some of the labels under their umbrella include Harrah’s, the Londons Club International casinos, and the World Series of Poker.

Hot Dog Stand to Empire

The widespread chain of casinos, resorts, and other establishments that would one day become Caesar’s World began with the Perlman brothers, Clifford and Stuart Perlman. The brothers decided to buy a hot dog stand known as Lums, located in Miami Beach, in 1956. They made it a success and soon the hot dog stands expanded to other locations. By 1965, they were offering franchises, and the chain expanded rapidly from 15 locations to 90.

The Lums group started buying more businesses, like Army-Navy stores, a honeymoon resort, and a meat packer. One of their biggest purchases was Caesars Palace, which they purchased in 1969 at a price of $58 million. Eventually, the entire company was sold to the owner of Kentucky Fried Chicken, and the name was changed to Caesar’s World.

The Caesar’s World Culture

The empire that is Caesar’s World is mostly the hospitality business, focused on comfort and entertainment. This makes gaining customer loyalty very important. Their goal is not only to please their customers, but their business partners and their employees. Pleased employees do a great deal to make any customers feel welcome – and that feeling is a necessity in the entertainment and hospitality business.

There are more than 70,000 employees with the company today, each of them with something special to offer the customers of any given Caesar’s World establishment. Together with the guiding hand of management they do what they can to set a standard of excellence and service that cannot be surpassed.

The theme of many of these locations is, after all, the opulence of Imperial Rome, and it is their wish that everyone who visits feels as though he or she has stepped into a world of luxury.

This same spirit goes into their collection of fragrances, as well. Opulence must appeal to all the senses, scent included, and these fragrances go a long way toward providing that for the often neglected sense of smell.

Caesars Man is a casual wear fragrance, meant to evoke the spirit of Caesar himself – one of the great conquerors. It opens with rosemary, verbena, and bergamot, with a heart of geranium, fir balm, and lavender, and a base of oakmoss, patchouli, amber, and sandalwood.

The companion to Caesars Man is Caesars Woman. This feminine fragrance, spicy and floral, is meant to evoke the elegance and ease of Ancient Rome. It has top notes of bergamot, Egyptian jasmine, rose, and orange blossom. The heart contains, orris root, lily-of-the-valley, mimosa, tuberose, and geranium, with a base of sandalwood, patchouli, and musk.

Caesars Woman Goddess is a variation on Caesars Woman, more powerful and more sensual than the original scent, like the Roman baths of old. It opens with crisp and clean notes from nutmeg, plum, and green apple. The heart is lushly floral: ylang ylang, jasmine, and rose with a touch of cinnamon. The seductively warm base contains musk, amber and sandalwood.

Ferentina is named for a Roman spirit of nature and water, guardian of the Latin people. As such, it has a natural scent with top notes of orange blossom, cassis, and marigold. Its heart is rose, cinnamon, jasmine, and ylang-ylang, with sandalwood, amber, and musk at its base. On the whole, it is much like a bouquet of spring flowers, with an added touch of feminine warmth.

The Many Territories of Caesar’s World

Caesar’s World has so much to offer, from fragrances to casinos to resorts to restaurants, it’s rare to find someone who has not been to one of their establishments or used one of their products at some point. They, of course, have the famed Caesars hotels and casinos, but they also own the Las Vegas staples Harrah’s and Bally’s.

One doesn’t have to go to Nevada to experience the top-notch service of Caesar’s World, however. Planet Hollywood is a great place for those who love movies and movie history – and is part of Caesar’s World. The Grand Biloxi in Mississippi is also a part of it. The World Series of Poker, which becomes a bigger event each year, is also run by Caesar’s World.

At the heart of it all, is the service in the style of the very best qualities of Roman opulence and style, which sets Caesar’s World at the top of the heap in the world of service and hospitality.
